personal

Raised in Miami & Atlanta, then in New York City for 2 decades, Westport CT is where my family & I now call home. While living in NY, we had a cute little weekend escape on the east end of long island and it’s there I realized that the ultimate life is a balance of city & beach. I adore the weekend town mentality, whether it’s country or beach. It’s a place to unwind and sort of feel like you’re on vacation from reality for a couple days.

Living in a historic coastal community offers constant inspiration while having quick access to my first love, NYC. I adore the beach lifestyle but equally love the spark of that magical city. Where I’ve lived and worked has played a major part in shaping who I am as a designer.

I will always consider myself a New Yorker, which is where I spent many years leading & creating the windows/interiors for the Ralph Lauren stores in downtown NY, the Hamptons & Connecticut. This was an incredible job where I like to say I got my Master’s, at the “University of RL”. It’s there that I learned the language of furniture, art, architecture, floral and design as well as how to run a team, a project, and a budget.

This role brought me to locations all over, including France, Switzerland & Hong Kong and broadened my love of world travel. It’s these experiences, paired with a lust for learning, that have led me to where I am today as a designer.

Working on homes is a very intimate experience, and one that I will always feel flattered to be asked to do. I love creating spaces that are meaningful, interesting and give you that feeling where you don’t want to leave. Crafting a home is much more than just cool furniture. It’s a vibe. You need the layers, the lighting, the music to give it that just-right feel. So basically I like to create beautiful homes for open-minded nice people, people that appreciate the process and mainly, the end result.
